About TRW

Travis Republican Women

TRW was established in 1968 and joyously celebrates 41 years of dedicated service to local, county and statewide Republican candidates. TRW members participate in raising funds to contribute to candidates. Several of the members of TRW are Precinct Judges, Election Judges and Alternate Judges for the Primary and General elections. The objectives of the Travis RW are:

• To promote an informed electorate through political education;
• To facilitate cooperation among women Republican clubs;
• To increase the effectiveness of women in the course of good government through active political participation.
• To foster loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its principles and candidates in all elections, including non-partisan elections and,
• To work for the election of Republican Party nominees.

Travis RW programs include appearances from political candidates and elected officials as well as informative presentations in order to achieve the objectives above.
